What exactly does replication copy?
Apps, custom models and fields, access rights, views, actions, reports, automations, menus, settings and default values. Data (products, contacts…) and Knowledge articles are added on the plans that include them.
Can I test without writing anything?
Yes: dry-run mode plays the whole replication without writing to the target instance. By default, a view customised on the target is never overwritten: it is left untouched and flagged in the log.
Does it work with Odoo Studio customisations?
Yes: models and fields created with Studio or by hand, along with their views, actions and automations, are replicated like everything else.
